Frequently asked questions
Technical and operational information for researchers and institutions.
Quality and analysis
+What purity do Peptide Life peptides have?
≥99.0% purity verified by HPLC-UV at 220 nm. Batches not meeting the criterion are fully rejected.
+How do I verify batch authenticity?
Every vial carries a Peptide Life batch code. Enter it in the verifier to check identity, purity, molecular mass and available documentation.
+What does a COA include?
Product identification, batch, HPLC purity, chromatogram, mass-spectrometry identity and relevant analysis dates.
Shipping and delivery
+How long does shipping take?
Major metropolitan areas usually receive within 24–48 business hours; other destinations within 48–96 hours depending on courier coverage.
+How is the packaging?
Discreet box without commercial branding, cushioning material and gel refrigerant when the compound's stability requires it.
+Do I receive a tracking number?
Yes. When we dispatch we share the tracking number by email or WhatsApp.
Metabolic research
+What are metabolic research peptides?
Compounds such as Semaglutide, Tirzepatide and Retatrutide that act on metabolic receptors (GLP-1, GIP, GCGR) and are used as experimental tools to study incretin signaling in preclinical models. Peptide Life supplies them exclusively as Research Use Only (RUO) materials with ≥99% HPLC purity. They are not medicines.
Reconstitution and handling
+What type of water is used for reconstitution?
Sterile bacteriostatic water with 0.9% benzyl alcohol. For short-term analysis, sterile water may be used under the validated protocol.
+How is a reconstituted solution stored?
Label it with date and concentration and refrigerate at 2–8°C, avoiding vigorous agitation and repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
+Does the calculator recommend dosing?
No. It only converts units for RUO technical work; it does not provide therapeutic instructions or human-use recommendations.
RUO regulatory framework
+What does Research Use Only mean?
It indicates the compound is destined exclusively for in vitro or preclinical scientific research. It is not a medicine or supplement.
+Are Peptide Life peptides for human consumption?
No. All Peptide Life products are intended exclusively for in vitro and preclinical scientific research (Research Use Only). They are not approved by COFEPRIS, FDA or any other regulatory agency for human or veterinary use.
+Who is responsible for handling?
The purchasing researcher or institution must ensure storage, use, documentation and disposal according to their protocol and applicable regulations.
